A "REM@STER" version of a song is a M@STER version of a song rearranged. These new arrangements often sound completely different than the original song and include unofficial lyrics. All of these songs are either in THE IDOLM@STER MASTER LIVE series or THE IDOLM@STER MASTER SPECIAL series.

A shortened version of a REM@STER is a "REMIX", which is used to represent the new arrangement in the games. They are only audio changes in gameplay, and don't have any effect on image stats. There are two types of REM@STERs: REM@STER-A and REM@STER-B. These two rearrangements are both available in game, shortened into REMIX-A and REMIX-B versions. All of these recordings were put onto THE IDOLM@STER MASTER BOX III, THE IDOLM@STER MASTER BOX IV, and THE IDOLM@STER MASTER BOX catalog 08,09,11 COMPLETE.

Song List

All of the following songs have received a REMIX-A and REMIX-B version. The REMIX-A versions are all playable upon unlocking them in THE iDOLM@STER: Live for You!. The REMIX-B versions, however, are available as DLC for both THE iDOLM@STER: Live for You! and THE iDOLM@STER SP. In the SP game however, they are under the name "-RMX-".

  • The only songs to have REMIX versions but not REM@STER arrangement are my song (missing a REM@STER-B version), i (missing a REM@STER-B version), and Colorful Days (missing both REM@STER versions).
  • Hibiki and Takane are the only 765 PRO idols not to have sung a solo REM@STER version.
  • Takane and Hibiki are also the only 765 PRO idols not to have any of their REMIX versions on any album. Only their REMIX-B versions are available in THE iDOLM@STER SP through DLC.
  • Two REM@STER songs have appeared in animated media. shiny smile REM@STER-A appeared in Episode 8 of THE iDOLM@STER (anime) as an insert song played in the background. Ohayou!! Asagohan (REM@STER-A) has a cameo in episode 7 where the intro is briefly heard when Hibiki tries to watch a television program.
  • Interestingly, many REM@STER songs are very popular in THE iDOLM@STER fandom, notably Ohayou!! Asagohan's REM@STER-A which featured the guest singer Akira Kushida (串田 アキラ).
