IYAM is a unit that appeared on the third CD of THE IDOLM@STER MASTERPIECE series.

IYAM is a unit created for the third THE iDOLM@STER CD. It is on friendly terms with fellow arcade game units ACM and HYR. This unit was popular due to the unit being made up of younger members, and can be considered to be both a trio or quartet. Fans alternatively called this unit the "Loli Trio" or "Loli Quintet" depending on if Mami was included.

  • Because of the unit's popularity, a CD's were made of the trio singing together, such as THE IDOLM@STER ANIM@TION MASTER 01 OPENING THEME "READY!!". These CD's do not feature them as this unit, though.
  • Interestingly, this fans would sometimes add Miki Hoshii into this unit on the Xbox 360, due to them being around the same age. When THE iDOLM@STER 2 allowed quintets, players learned they could have a unit of Mami, Yayoi, and Miki while having Ami and Iori join as back up dancers in game. This lead to the usage of "Loli Quintet".
