Character Description
Rei is an exceptionally confident and voluptuous dance instructor. She often puts strong emphasis on her impressive cleavage, but can still maintain a professional demeanor. She is very afraid of lightning, and her apartment is filled with teru teru bōzu, traditional Japanese charms believed to bring good weather or prevent a rainy day.
The producer first encounters Rei when he goes in for a trial dance lesson, where she is the lead instructor. Rei specializes in ballroom dance technique which is seen as a sensual form of dance; Because of their closeness while dancing, the producer becomes flustered. Rei finds this cute and eggs on the producer by asking if they "liked it". However, she tells the producer a relationship between teacher and pupil is forbidden. Although, The producer shoves that aside to offer Rei a job as an idol. She seems intrigued by this since she has the chance to be closer to the producer, thus she accepts his offer.
In the tie in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Rei is admittedly a coward who would like to overcome her fear of storms; Because of this, she enlists the help of Koume Shirasaka to help her overcome her fears. Since then, Koume has taken Rei to haunted houses and other scary places to help Rei get over her fears. She is seen as being very good at quizzes/riddles in a few of the mobage comics. She is also a drinking friend of Rena Hyodo, Kaede Takagaki, Shino Hiiragi, and Sanae Katagiri.
In various commus, Rei has been shown to be kind with the younger idols; Like Momoka Sakurai who she teaches ballroom dancing too. She also prepares dishes for younger idols like Koharu Koga, Sakura Muramatsu, and Ibuki Komatsu. Overall, Rei is a kind hearted woman that wants to shine with the Producer the best she can. No matter where they are, she wishes to be the best and warmest idol she can be to others.

- Rei did not receive a new card set until the Halloween Party Gacha in October 2013. She's the idol who has spent the longest time having only one card set (from Nov 2011 to Oct 2013).
- Up until Dec 19th 2018, with the release of her 4th SR card set, Rei had the least number of card sets among all idols in the game, specifically those that have been in the game since 2011.
- Rei was the third-to-last Cool unvoiced idol to receive an SS Rare card set.
- Rei shares the same hometown with Yuki Himekawa and Chika Yokoyama.
