THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: Kagayaki no Mukougawa e! -signs-
Set in between the events of the anime series and the movie, this companion manga shows the current growth of the 765PRO idols.
The 765 Production TV series "Namassuka!? Revolution!!" is more popular than ever. Haruka Amami has finished her stage production "A Spring Storm", which was hailed as a success and inspired others within her agency. Because of her success, she won an "iDOL AWARD" (a fan decided award for the pinnacle of popularity) and the rest of 765PRO were all revealed to be finalists. Chihaya Kisaragi, while still caring deeply about her singing career, shows much more enthusiasm about other aspects of her idol career. She has already made her international debut by recording overseas. Makoto Kikuchi has just earned the role as the lead male in an upcoming movie. She eagerly announces that she doesn't mind that she is playing a boy part because it's a part she plays well. Yayoi Takatsuki and Mami Futami have proven that they have grown as idols and rely a little less on their producer. Yukiho Hagiwara and Takane Shijou are participating in a stage show and demonstrate a powerful fierceness within them. Ryuuguu Komachi is preparing for a nationwide tour, a baseball opening ceremony, and a CD recording. Sharing the name of their upcoming CD, the tour will be held at six different venues. Hibiki Ganaha is featured on several different TV shows and is thanked by her producer for being the one who supports 765PRO the most out of of all of its idols. Miki Hoshii received the "Rookie of the Year" award and gets a call from an extremely famous movie director in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Kotori Otonashi is surfing the forums and reading comments about the agency. Their regular concerts have had good responses, but several fans are disappointed that they could not go because they didn't receive a ticket from the lottery. President Takagi decides to show his draft for an "Arena Live".
The manga has first been distributed during the 2nd week of the theater release of THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE, it was then included in the special edition of the 3rd Volume of THE IDOLM@STER (from the same author) along with a booklet of THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: Beyond the brilliant future! -longing-.
