THE iDOLM@STER Mobile i (アイドルマスター モバイルi AIDORUMASUTAA MOBAIRU I) was a free app released for iPhone and iOS devices (5.0 or later was required to play). It was unlike the other games of the series as it is strictly location based and is only playable in Japan. Players had to register online to play the game. Service for the game ended on January 18, 2016.

Gameplay

The game focused on promotion and didn't have any performances or songs used in other games. As a producer, the player chooses one of the 765 PRO idols and work with her to make her famous throughout Japan by gaining fans. Unlike other games, players complete jobs by physically going to real places in Japan. Once the player goes to the "job offer", the idol earns fans by completing the event. 47 prefectures are able to be visited, with 505 areas available within them.

The clock of the phone includes a screen where you can touch the idols by pressing the screen.
